Apple Vision Pro, which is the company’s mixed-reality headset, will be up for pre-order in the US soon. Ahead of its availability, new details have emerged that suggest Apple wants to make sure users pick the correct size before buying the headset.

Apple To Help Users Find The Right Size of Vision Pro

The code accessed by MacRumors in the Apple Store app reads, “You may scan your face to determine your size for Apple Vision Pro.” Apple will use facial recognition technology to determine the right fit of the Vision Pro headset for its users.

This is similar to what Apple did when it started applications for giving out Vision Pro kits to developers for testing last year. As part of the process, those interested had to fill out a form, in addition to detailing their sizing information.

Bloomberg analyst Mark Gurman said in a post on X that Apple used its ‘Measure And Fit’ app to determine the size for the HeadBand and Light Seals for the Vision Pro. Now, it looks like the functionality has been added to the Apple Store app to make it easier for people ordering the Vision Pro online to find their perfect fit.

As part of the package, Apple is also offering those with prescription lenses ZEISS inserts. The code also suggests that Apple might offer engraving on the Vision Pro, just like it does with many of its other products.
