The Indian air fryer market is no longer limited to compact single-basket models built mainly for quick snacks and frozen foods. As more households begin using air fryers for complete meals, brands are increasingly focusing on larger capacities, dual-zone cooking, and multi-dish preparation. The latest entrant in that growing category is INALSA, which has launched the Nutri Fry DuoSlim, a new 14L dual-zone air fryer designed around simultaneous cooking and space-efficient kitchen setups.
Priced at Rs 13,999, the new model introduces a vertical dual-stack design instead of the wider side-by-side layout commonly seen in dual-basket air fryers. The company says the appliance has been built for households managing different meal timings, multiple food preferences, and tighter kitchen spaces.
A Dual-Zone Air Fryer With a Vertical Design
The Nutri Fry DuoSlim features two independent 7L cooking baskets, offering a combined 14L capacity. Each basket is powered by its own 1400W heating system, taking the total output to 2800W. Users can independently control temperature and cooking duration for both zones, allowing separate dishes to cook simultaneously without overlapping settings or flavour transfer.
One of the more notable aspects of the appliance is its vertical stacking layout. Most dual-zone air fryers in the market currently use a wider horizontal design, which often demands more counter space. INALSA is instead positioning the DuoSlim as a compact alternative for urban kitchens where countertop space remains limited.
The appliance also supports cooking temperatures between 80°C and 200°C and includes an integrated roasting rack setup that allows users to prepare up to four food components within a single cooking cycle.
Sync Finish and Viewing Windows Aim to Improve Everyday Usability
To simplify multi-dish cooking, INALSA has added Sync Finish Technology, which aligns the completion timing of both baskets even when they are running at different temperatures or durations. The company says this is intended to help users serve multiple dishes together without manually adjusting cooking times midway.
The Nutri Fry DuoSlim also includes reinforced viewing windows and internal basket lighting, allowing users to monitor food without repeatedly opening the baskets and interrupting heat circulation. Other features include 10 preset cooking menus and an adjustable display with three viewing positions.
Dual-Basket Air Fryers Are Becoming a Larger Category in India
The launch also reflects a broader shift happening within the Indian air fryer segment. Earlier air fryers largely focused on entry-level pricing and basic low-oil cooking. But newer launches are increasingly moving toward larger capacities, smarter presets, and meal-focused use cases.
Brands like Philips India, Havells, Nuuk and Ninja Kitchen have also been expanding into higher-capacity or dual-basket formats globally and in India. The category is increasingly being positioned less as a secondary snack appliance and more as a primary everyday cooking device for Indian households.
At Rs 13,999, the INALSA Nutri Fry DuoSlim enters the premium end of the air fryer segment, where buyers are typically looking for larger capacities, simultaneous cooking flexibility, and more efficient meal preparation rather than just basic reheating or frying functionality. We will be looking at trying this side by side feature when we get the product and sharing our feedback on the same. So stay tuned with MySmartPrice for that.
