Samsung has expanded its Bespoke AI appliance portfolio in India with a Google Gemini-powered Family Hub refrigerator and two new air conditioners. The 2026 range includes the Bespoke AI WindFree Pro and Infinite 1-Way Cassette AC, with features spanning food recognition, personalised cooling and remote appliance management.
Unveiled at an event in Gurugram, the appliances use SmartThings to connect household controls and services. Alongside the hardware, the announcement brings an upgraded Bixby voice assistant with user recognition, Family Care alerts and Pet Care features.

The Infinite 1-Way Cassette AC will be offered in 3.6kW, 5.2kW and 7.1kW cooling capacities through authorised channel partners nationwide. Sale dates and retail channels for the Family Hub refrigerator and WindFree Pro AC were not specified in the announcement.
Family Hub Refrigerator Brings Google Gemini to the Kitchen
Family Hub Refrigerator with AI Vision built with Google Gemini1: Equipped with contextual AI experiences like Search for Video Recipes,the 32-inch Family Hub serves as a central space for Now Brief, Notes, schedules, and entertainment. Localized features include Family Care and Pet Care.
According to Samsung, AI Vision and AI Food Manager can recognise food items, suggest recipes and help track use-by dates. The refrigerator also offers Now Brief for personalised updates covering schedules, weather and Family Care information. SmartThings integration with Samsung Health adds support for calorie-aware meal planning.
Access to Gemini features will depend on factors including country, language, device model and software version. Certain functions may require additional app settings or a subscription, and the service is restricted to users aged 18 and above.
WindFree Pro AC Adds Air Purification and Personalised Cooling
The Bespoke AI WindFree Pro combines AI-enabled cooling controls with PM purification. Connectivity comes through SmartThings, with Home Appliance Remote Management support for monitoring and managing the appliance.
For its WindFree ACs, Samsung also highlighted Wearable Good Sleep, which works with Galaxy wearables to adjust cooling settings based on the user's sleep patterns. AI Energy Mode is designed to manage energy consumption, while Triple Motion Wings let users direct airflow where needed.
The Infinite 1-Way Cassette AC uses 17,200 micro-holes for WindFree cooling and measures 13.8cm in depth. Its design incorporates an ASA body and Edge Lighting with nine light modes. The cassette model also includes SmartThings controls, AI Comfort Mode and an Intertek-certified antibacterial copper filter.
Bixby Voice ID and SmartThings Expand Connected Home Features
The updated Bixby assistant introduces Voice ID, allowing it to recognise individual users and personalise their experience. On select appliances, the AI Home screen provides a common interface for connected device controls, appliance information, entertainment and family communication.
Family Care extends this functionality to household monitoring, with alerts for unusual situations such as inactivity at scheduled times. Pet Care, meanwhile, offers activity tracking, breed-based health insights and reminders for walks and care routines through the SmartThings app.
The announcement also outlined features across the wider Bespoke AI portfolio. These include AI Wash & Dry on the Laundry Combo, which detects fabric types and adjusts wash and drying cycles, and a dedicated Pet Care Wash Cycle for pet accessories. SmartThings Home Care and remote management services support appliance monitoring and servicing.
On the software front, Samsung says its update service through SmartThings now offers seven years of updates, with Smart Forward bringing additional features over time. Knox provides security across the connected appliance ecosystem.
