Milagrow has unveiled two new additions to its pool-cleaning portfolio: the RP25 Professional and RP30 Professional. Billed as India's fastest and most powerful robotic pool cleaners, these models are designed to serve everything from large private homes to resort-grade commercial pools. The launch marks another step in Milagrow's attempt to dominate the still-nascent robotic cleaning category in India. However, this time, it is looking at extending beyond the floor and handheld segments into high-ticket outdoor cleaning appliances.
Expanding the Full Stack
The RP25 and RP30 join an increasingly aggressive launch calendar for Milagrow. In just the past few weeks, the brand has introduced new handheld vacuums like the CoinSucker Pro, multi-surface home bots like the iMap 16 Galaxy, and even a convertible RVC-handheld combo with the iMap 15 AI Plus. With prices starting at ₹3,59,900, the new pool cleaners are clearly targeted at the top of the pyramid. It is targeting homeowners with large villas, clubs, or boutique hospitality properties who value low-maintenance, high-efficiency cleaning. However, people of this category rely mostly on househelps to do this chore. It seems like a more cost-effective solution than getting a robot to manage it.
What They Offer: Smarter Pool Cleaning for Larger Homes
Both devices promise to clean pools up to 2,100 sq. ft. in under 120 minutes, filtering over 18,000 litres of water per hour. The RP25 is tailored for mid-size luxury homes and private clubhouses, while the RP30 steps it up for resort-grade applications. Each model comes with Smart Z Programming and Robotic 6th Sense, which is Milagrow's AI-powered navigation layer that maps, climbs, and scrubs various surfaces including tiles, vinyl, and inclined pool corners up to six feet deep. A special focus has been placed on reducing energy consumption and chemical usage, with claimed savings of up to 93% on energy and 30% on chemicals.
While this may sound like overkill for a regular apartment complex, Milagrow is betting that urban India's growing pool of affluent consumers, gated communities, and private villas can help make pool robots more mainstream. It is hoping to match the same kind of success that floor RVCs did during and post-COVID.
However, robot pool cleaners are still a niche segment in India, with very few organised players. Traditional vacuum heads, manual scrubbing, or low-cost water pumps continue to dominate the landscape. Globally, brands like Dolphin (Maytronics) and Polaris (Zodiac/Fluidra) have strong visibility, but remain expensive and difficult to service locally. Milagrow's entry into this space with Indian support and branding could address these gaps.
That said, adoption will depend on how the brand manages after-sales service, accessories supply, and education around use-cases, especially for premium customers who expect white-glove service. Milagrow has a strong sales network in the RVC space and we are hoping that the company will be able to leverage the same for this category as well.
Is This the Right Time to Dive In?
If you’re a resort owner, villa resident, or gated-community developer with a large pool and a recurring cleaning contract, the RP25 and RP30 may offer long-term savings and convenience. The RP25, at ₹3,59,900, makes sense for those who want less chemical exposure, lower electricity bills, and zero manual effort. The RP30, priced slightly higher at ₹3,69,900, adds better cable length, motor torque, and manoeuvrability for deeper or irregularly shaped pools. For people who are looking for a technically advanced solution that goes beyond the human and does comprehensive cleaning, this seems like a good bet. It is also a good for tech experts and early adopters in the category.
However, if your pool area is smaller or used infrequently, a regular pressure pump or manual service contract might still be more cost-effective. As always, utility depends on usage patterns, pool shape, surface type, and access to power outlets.
Milagrow's recent product launches signal a calculated diversification strategy. From budget-friendly handhelds to high-end robotic pool cleaners, the brand is filling out a wide pricing spectrum. It is also positioning itself as a “full-stack” home-cleaning robot player. It is definitely an advantage that few other Indian brands hold.
In a year where global players like Dreame, Eureka Forbes, and Ecovacs are ramping up their India play, Milagrow seems focused on building category depth rather than just chasing volumes. The RP25 and RP30 may not be mass-market products, but they help cement Milagrow's positioning as an innovation-first brand in the Indian cleaning tech space.
