Robot vacuum cleaners in India are gradually shifting from convenience gadgets to appliance-grade systems that are expected to operate with minimal supervision. As urban homes become more complex and daily cleaning routines harder to manage, the emphasis is moving toward robots that can vacuum, mop, clean themselves, and maintain hygiene without frequent user intervention. It is within this context that Milagrow has launched the iMap Max W300, expanding its premium iMap lineup with a more tightly integrated cleaning and docking system.
The iMap Max W300 is positioned as a fully automatic, all-in-one robot vacuum and mop designed for Indian homes that require both dry and wet cleaning across mixed floor types. At its core is a high-performance cleaning system delivering up to 24,000Pa suction, powered by a Japanese BLDC brushless motor. The robot can dynamically adjust suction when it detects carpets or heavier dirt, allowing it to move between hard floors and rugs without manual input.
For mopping, the robot uses dual rotating mops that apply up to 20N of pressure to scrub stains and spills. It can vacuum and mop in a single run, while an automatic 17mm mop lift prevents carpets from getting wet. An extendable mop mechanism improves edge and corner coverage, addressing areas that are typically missed by conventional robot vacuums.
The most significant shift with the iMap Max W300 comes from its docking system. The dock automatically empties dust into a sealed 3.5-litre bag, refills clean water, washes the mops during and after cleaning, and collects dirty water separately. Milagrow says this setup enables four to twelve weeks of hands-free operation, depending on usage. To address hygiene concerns, the dock also dries the mops using 68°C hot air, helping reduce bacterial growth and odour buildup between cycles.
Navigation and coverage are handled by RT²R 4.0 LDS laser mapping combined with SLAM-based route planning. The robot scans and maps homes accurately, follows an edge-first and bow-pattern cleaning path, and supports multi-floor mapping for up to five levels. Users can define no-go zones, virtual walls, and room-specific cleaning preferences, making the system suitable for duplex homes and larger layouts.
Battery performance is designed to match the scale of Indian homes. A 5200mAh battery delivers up to five hours of runtime and covers approximately 3,500 to 4,000 square feet on a single charge. If the battery runs low mid-cycle, the robot returns to the dock, recharges, and resumes cleaning automatically.
Control is managed via Milagrow's SmartLife app, which the company says is hosted on India-based servers. The app supports scheduled cleaning, zonal and room-based control, and do-not-disturb modes. Voice control is available through Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, along with multi-language voice prompts including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Bangla, and English.
