V-Guard has launched the Emocia Air Fryer Series in India, expanding its kitchen appliances lineup with two 5-litre models — Emocia Pro 5L and Emocia 5L. The range is priced starting at Rs 4,999 and will be sold through leading e-commerce platforms and V-Guard's official website.
The launch comes as air fryers continue to move from being a niche health appliance to a more common kitchen device for everyday Indian cooking. V-Guard is positioning the Emocia range around low-oil cooking, ease of use, and design-led features such as a viewing window on the Pro model.
A 5-Litre Air Fryer Range for Everyday Indian Kitchens
Both models in the Emocia Air Fryer Series come with a 5-litre capacity, which should make them suitable for small and mid-sized families. V-Guard says the range can help users cook with up to 90% less oil, while still preparing familiar snacks and everyday meals.
The air fryers are powered by a 1350W heating system and support an adjustable temperature range of 80°C to 200°C. There is also a cooking timer of up to 60 minutes, along with eight preset functions for common recipes.
Emocia Pro Adds a Viewing Window, Emocia Gets a Steel Finish
The Emocia Pro 5L gets a transparent viewing window, allowing users to monitor food while it is cooking without opening the basket. This is a useful feature in air fryers because opening the basket repeatedly can interrupt heat circulation and affect cooking consistency.
The standard Emocia 5L gets a premium steel finish instead, aimed at buyers who want a cleaner, more minimal-looking appliance for their kitchen. Both models also feature a non-stick, easy-release basket for simpler serving and cleaning.
V-Guard Is Pushing Deeper Into Kitchen Appliances
Commenting on the launch, Mithun K Chittilappilly, Managing Director, V-Guard Industries Ltd., said, "At V-Guard, our innovation is driven by a deep understanding of evolving consumer needs. As healthier lifestyles take center stage and kitchens become smarter and more efficient, consumers are increasingly seeking solutions that simplify everyday cooking without compromising on taste or convenience."
He added that the Emocia Air Fryer Series brings together "intuitive technology, reliable performance, and thoughtful design" to make healthier cooking more accessible for modern households.
Air Fryers Are Moving Beyond Just ‘Less Oil' Claims
The Emocia launch also reflects where the air fryer category is heading in India. The conversation is no longer only about using less oil. Buyers are now also looking at basket capacity, cleaning convenience, preset modes, viewing windows, and how well the appliance fits into regular kitchen use.
At Rs 4,999 onwards, V-Guard appears to be targeting the mass-premium end of the category rather than going after oversized or highly specialised air fryers. The 5-litre capacity, touch controls, preset modes, and Pro model's viewing window give the Emocia Series a familiar but relevant feature set for everyday home cooking.
