After launching the ROG Phone 5 in India recently, Asus is turning its attention back to laptops. The Taiwanese company launched the Asus Zenbook Duo 14 and the Zenbook Pro Duo 15 laptops in India today, both of which are priced in the premium ultrabook range. The two Zenbooks were originally announced at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) earlier this year. The Asus Zenbook Duo 14 starts at Rs. 99,990 in India, while the Zenbook Pro Duo 15 OLED will start at Rs. 2,39,990 in the country, pitting these devices against ultrabooks like Dell’s XPS series or even Apple’s Macbook line.

Asus Zenbook Duo 14 specs and features

The Zenbook Duo 14 is sort of the lower end of the two laptops, though both these devices still fall in the premium category. This 14-inch laptop uses the ScreenPad Plus feature that Asus had introduced a few years ago. It has a secondary display that is tilted by about 7 degrees in order to avoid glare and improve readability. The main display uses the NanoEdge technology, which reduces bezel size and gives the laptop a 93% screen-to-body ratio.

The laptop runs on Intel’s 11th Generation Core processors with the new Iris Xe graphics. You will also get discrete graphics options from Nvidia’s GeForce MX450 graphics chip. The company also offers something called Asus Intelligent Performance Technology, which the company claims will improve the laptop’s performance by 40% as compared to other laptops with the same specs.

Asus Zenbook Pro Duo 15 specs and features

The Zenbook Pro Duo is aimed at those who want a slightly bigger display. It has a 15-inch primary display and a smaller ScreenPad Plus secondary screen. Both of these screens support 4K resolution, and Asus claims that the ScreenPad Plus will work seamlessly with the primary display. The ScreenPad on this one is set at 9.5 degrees, in order to improve readability.

This laptop also comes with Intel’s 11th Generation Core i9 processors, coupled with Nvidia’s RTX 3070 graphics chips. You also get two Thunderbolt 3 USB Type-C ports, WiFi 6 support and 1TB PCIe SSD, with up to 32GB DDR4 RAM.
