OnePlus 9RT and OnePlus Buds Z2 India Launch Officially Teased in a Cryptic Tweet

Powering the handset is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC which is fabbed on a 5nm process. Snapdragon 888 comes with an integrated Adreno 660 GPU. The device retails in up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS3.1 storage.

The Chinese variant of the smartphone boots Android 12. However, the handset was spotted on Google Play Supported devices list with Android 11, so it’s not clear if the OnePlus 9RT will come pre-loaded with Android 11 or Android 12 in India.

Talking about the cameras, the 9RT is equipped with a triple rear camera setup and an LED flash. The primary on the device is a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor. There is also a 16MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro lens on the smartphone. The 9RT offers a 16MP Sony IMX471 sensor with EIS for selfies and video calls..

The OnePlus device is powered by a 4,500mAh battery unit and supports 65W Warp Charge 65 fast-charging. It offers a USB Type-C charging port, and a dual stereo speaker setup. Similar to most other OnePlus devices, the 9RT also doesn’t offer the 3.5mm audio jack, so the audio is routed through the charging port. It measures 162.2×74.6×8.29mm and weighs 198.5 grams.

The OnePlus 9RT is said to launch in two configurations – 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB storage variants. These variants might cost somewhere between Rs 40,000-44,000.
