Google Pixel 7 Pro and Pixel 7 with Tensor G2 Processor Launched: Price in India, Specifications

Google Pixel 7 Pro and Pixel 7 smartphones have been launched today at its “Made by Google 2022” event. The latest Pixel phones are powered by the new Tensor G2 processor, which is Google’s second-gen mobile processor. The Pixel 7 Pro, being the star of the show here comes with an improved camera setup while Pixel 7 sticks to the same optics as seen on the Pixel 6.

The Pixel 7 series follows the same design language as we’ve seen with the Pixel 6 series with a visor-like camera design on the back. Like last year, Google is not providing a charging brick in the box for both devices. Both devices are available in three colour options and they are made up of aluminium material. Google Pixel 7 Pro, Pixel 7: Price in India and Availability

The Google Pixel 7 Pro starts at Rs 84,999 and the Pixel 7 starts at Rs 59,999. The 7 Pro is available in Obsidian Black, Hazel, and Snow White colour options and the Pixel 7 will be available in Obsidian Black, Lemongrass, and Snow White colourways. The devices are already available for pre-order in India via Flipkart and will start shipping on October 11th.

Google Pixel 7 Pro: Specifications and Features

The Google Pixel 7 Pro is Google’s flagship phone of the year with top-of-the-line features and specs. The phone sports a large 6.7-inch Quad HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device is powered by the new Google Tensor G2. The 7 Pro comes with 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.

In the camera department, the Pixel 7 Pro features a triple rear camera setup led by a 50MP main wide-angle lens, a 48MP telephoto lens, and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera. There is a 10.8MP selfie snapper on the front for selfies and video calls. The camera offers features like 30x hybrid zoom, macro focus, OIS, real tone, motion blur, and more. The phone is backed by a 5,000mAh battery and it supports 30W wired Type-C fast charging, there is support for wireless charging as well.

The phone runs on Android 13 out of the box, making it the first one to do so. Other features include 5G, 4G LTE, Titan M2 chip for security, in-display fingerprint scanner, face unlock, IP68 rating, Bluetooth, and dual-band Wi-Fi.

Google Pixel 7: Specifications and Features

The smaller Pixel 7 comes with a 6.3-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz screen refresh rate. This is also powered by the Tensor G2 SoC with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. The vanilla Pixel 7 comes with a 50MP wide-angle primary shooter and a 12MP ultra-wide lens 一 similar to last year’s Pixel 6. It also comes with 10.8MP selfie snapper.

The Pixel 7 is backed by a 4,355mAh battery and supports 30W wired Type-C fast charging and wireless charging. The rest of the specs are similar to the Pixel 7 Pro.

Both phones also come with features like a cinematic video blur, 4K 60fps video, 10-bit HDR video recording, magic eraser, and photo unblur 一 the last one being exclusive only to the Pixel 7 series.
