The listing also disclosed that the smartwatch will be available in four strap options. Now, in a recent development, we at MySmartPrice have first spotted the upcoming Google Pixel Watch 2 on the Google Play Console as well as on the Google Play Supported device list.

Google Pixel Watch 2 Will Be Powered By Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1(SW5100) Chipset

The Google Play Supported device listing reveals the moniker of the smartwatch as the Google Pixel Watch 2. Furthermore, the listing also discloses that the smartwatch is codenamed as “eos”. On the other hand, the Google Play Console listing reveals the render of the smartwatch. If we have a look at the render, we can see that the Pixel Watch 2 will have a circular dial and a physical button located on the right side similar to the first-generation Pixel Watch. Furthermore, the listing also confirms that the upcoming Pixel Watch 2 will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 (SW5100) chipset which will be paired with 2GB of RAM.

The Google Play Console listing also confirms that the Pixel Watch 2 will have a 383×384 pixel resolution. On the software side of things, the smartwatch will boot Android 13 out of the box with Wear OS 4.0 on top. The previous leak suggests that the smartwatch will feature four new watch faces: Accessible, Arc, Analog Bold, and Bold Digital.

Furthermore, this upcoming wearable from Google is expected to pack a 306mAh battery. The Pixel Watch 2 is also expected to debut in India, considering that it has previously received the BIS certification. As of now, the launch date of the Pixel Watch 2 nor the Pixel 8 series is revealed by Google. Considering that the Pixel 7 series made its debut in October last year, the Pixel 8 lineup and the Watch 2 might launch in the same time frame this year.
