Honor 100 Series Specifications Leaked Ahead of November 23 Launch

The Chinese smartphone maker Honor will be introducing the Honor 100 series in China on November 23. The upcoming Honor 100 lineup might include two devices initially such as the Honor 100 and the Honor 100 Pro. These devices were spotted on 3C certification a couple of days back. The 3C certification confirmed that the Honor 100 series will be offering up to 100W fast charging support. Now, more specifications of the Honor 100 series are revealed courtesy of information shared by tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo.

Honor 100 Will Be Powered By Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC

As per Digital Chat Station, the Honor 100 series will feature a 1.5K resolution display which will have 3840Hz PWM eye-protection dimming technology support. Furthermore, the tipster also reveals that the Honor 100 vanilla model will be powered by Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC. The yet-to-be-announced Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset is expected to include a prime core clocked at 2.63GHz, a performance core clocked at 2.GHz and the efficiency cores clocked at 1.8GHz. The chipset is expected to be paired with an Adreno 720 GPU, which no doubt will bring performance improvement compared to the Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 SoC’s GPU.

Furthermore, moving onto the details shared by Digital Chat Station again, the tipster discloses that the high-end model, i.e the Honor 100 Pro will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. Additionally, he also iterates that the lineup will offer 100W fast charging support, as revealed by the 3C certification previously.

As for the imaging purpose, each of the Honor 100 series device will feature a 50MP primary camera which will have an OIS support. The camera on these devices will capture SLR-level photos as revealed by Honor executive previously. The vanilla Honor 100 will feature a dual-camera setup, while the Pro model will boast a triple-camera setup as revealed by the teaser image shared by Honor a few days back.

On the front side, the Honor 100 will sport a single front-facing camera, while the Honor 100 Pro will feature a dual camera setup on the front side. These devices will debut in the White and Purple colour options. However, more colour options should be available during launch.
