After launching the Honor 90 series in May this year, Honor is already working towards the launch of its successor in the form of the Honor 100 lineup. The upcoming Honor 100 series is likely to include three devices: the Honor 100, Honor 100 Pro, and the Honor 100 GT. Though the company has not revealed the official launch date of the Honor 100 series yet, a recent leak suggests that this new lineup could be announced by the end of this month. While we wait for the launch, the possible Honor 100 series smartphones have received the 3C certification in China.

Possible Honor 100 Series Smartphones Will Offer 100W Fast Charging Support

The Honor smartphones that have passed the 3C certification carry model numbers MAA-AN10 and MA-AN00 respectively. The 3C certification reveals that these possible Honor 100 series devices will offer 100W fast charging support. The listing also discloses that these smartphones will have 5G support. Apart from the fast charging and 5G connectivity details, no other information is revealed by the 3C certification.

The recent leak suggests that the Honor 100 series will flaunt a 1.5K resolution display and it will also have a high-frequency dimming for eye protection. The lineup could be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The devices in the Honor 100 series could boast dual front-facing cameras, while at the rear the handsets might have a circular camera module.

At present, the Chinese smartphone maker has not revealed the official launch date of the Honor 100 series as mentioned above. However, considering that the launch of this upcoming lineup is tipped for the end of this month, and the devices have received the 3C certification, we can expect Honor to soon announce the launch date of the Honor 100 series.

The upcoming Honor 100 series will succeed the Honor 90 lineup. To recall, the Honor 90 series consists of Honor 90 Honor 90 Pro, and Honor 90 Lite smartphones. The Honor 90 and the 90 Pro features a 6.7 and a 6.7-inch display that has a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The Honor 90 is powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, while the Honor 90 Pro makes use of a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. These phones run Android 13 out of the box and they feature a 200MP primary camera. The other key features which these two phones offer include a 50MP front-facing camera, a 5,000mAh battery, and up to 90W fast charging support.
