Remember the Huawei Enjoy Z? It’s only been a few hours since we last talked about this upcoming Huawei smartphone in this article. Back then, we only knew that this device is an ‘affordable’ 5G capable handset from Huawei and that it will be launched on May 24. Hours later, the first renders of this phone have appeared on the Chinese social media platform Weibo. These renders come courtesy of the popular Chinese leakster Digital Chat Station (DCS). Apart from the renders, we also have information about some of the key specifications of this handset, all thanks to DCS.
Let’s take a closer look, shall we?
Before we begin, take a look at the renders of the Huawei Enjoy Z.
As evident from the renders above, the Huawei Enjoy Z will be offered in at least three color options at launch. It also clearly gets a triple rear camera setup with a prominent LED flash at the top. The camera module looks similar to the one on the Honor X10. Very little is known about the sensors that Huawei uses in the Enjoy Z. The Weibo post, however, mentions that the Enjoy Z will feature a 48MP primary sensor.
Other vital bits that DCS has revealed include the fact that the Huawei Enjoy Z will feature a 90Hz display — albeit he does add that only the higher-end variant might come with this feature. While there were talks about the Enjoy Z being a rebranded version of the Honor X10, from the renders, it is evident that the phone does not get a pop-up front camera like the X10. The Huawei Enjoy Z instead has a U-shaped notch for the front camera.
In our previous post, we had talked about the Enjoy Z possibly using the Mediatek Dimensity 800 chipset instead of the company’s own HiSilicon Kirin SoCs. This seems to have been confirmed by DCS as well. We had also talked about the likelihood of this device becoming the most affordable 5G capable device from Huawei.
Anyway, with the launch of the Huawei Enjoy Z just days away, we expect more specifications and features of this device to be revealed. Keep watching this space!
