WWDC 2022 is not far away. Apple will host its annual developer event on June 6, where the company will announce iOS 16, macOS 13, iPadOS 16, and other operating systems for its devices. The new updates will roll out to all eligible models later this year. Before Apple unveils the key software features for respective devices, a new report has revealed some key details about iOS 16.

According to a new report, Apple will introduce many major changes in iOS 16. The upcoming update for the iPhone 14, iPhone 13 and other eligible models will have many changes under the hood. Let’s take a look at the iOS 16 features list and rumours known so far.

iOS 16 Features Tipped

Apple will announce iOS 16 at WWDC 2022 on June 6. The upcoming update will reportedly have many major changes but look the same as iOS 15. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, who has a reputation for getting leaks right, claimed that iOS 16 will bring many major changes across the system. Gurman added that these changes will include “new ways of interacting and some fresh Apple apps.”

While the changes are said to be major, Gurman states that Apple is unlikely to bring any major redesign this year. This suggests that iOS 16 will look a lot similar to iOS 15.

Gurman had previously stated that iOS 16 will bring significant changes to notifications. Again, Gurman did not deep dive into the details. He further revealed that watchOS 9 for the Apple Watch will come with multiple upgrades with regards to activity and health tracking. Apple is also said to make some changes in the multitasking UI of iPadOS.

More details of the upcoming Apple software updates should surface online soon. Even if they don’t, the wait should not be a long one as the event is less than a month away. We will share more information as and when available.
