Whenever a new iPhone is launched, specifications and features are not the only things people talk about. New iPhones colour options have also become the talk of the town, especially the newly introduced ones. This year is no different as there have already been multiple reports about possible iPhone 15 colours. A fresh report has emerged revealing Apple will bid farewell to the Gold colour with the upcoming iPhone 15 Pro launch. There is said to be a new grey colour expected to be called Titan Grey.

iPhone 15 Pro Leaks in Titan Grey Colour

According to information obtained by 9to5Mac folks, Apple will replace the Gold colour with a new grey option on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. The colour could officially be known as Titan Grey, but nothing is set in stone yet. A leaked render also gives us an idea of what the new colour could look like.

The alleged Titan Grey colour looks darker than silver and white but lighter than space black and graphite. It is closer to the actual colour of titanium, the material that will replace stainless steel on the iPhone 15 Pro models. It would be the first time since the iPhone XS launch in 2018 that Apple will not offer a Gold colour iPhone.

Apple is further rumoured to replace the deep purple colour with a new dark blue colour. The report says it will be the special iPhone colour for the year and not the Crimson Red as previously claimed. It is unknown what this new colour would be called officially.

As for the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, Apple is said to have five colour options in the pipeline. These are Blue, Black, Yellow, Green, and Pink. The company is known for not releasing all colours at the same time. It usually saves at least one colour for the spring refresh. We will have to wait and see which of these colours will become official next month.

The iPhone 15 series is rumoured to arrive with a number of noticeable changes, including a USB Type-C port. However, a recent report revealed Apple will limit file transfer speeds to USB 2.0 standard despite bundling a USB-C cable. It is speculated only iPhone 15 Pro models will get faster transfer speeds. It is also possible that Apple may sell Thunderbolt cables separately, as all the models are said to offer Thunderbolt support.

If you are particularly interested in the iPhone 15 Pro, reports suggest you may have to wait about a month longer to get your hands on the device. It is due to shipment delays expected because of the camera sensor supply issue. And yes, the iPhone 15 Pro Max may be known as iPhone 15 Ultra this year. It is not exactly a surprising move as Apple already sells the Apple Watch Ultra, a more powerful, feature-rich, and expensive model than the Apple Watch Series 8.
