iQOO 11 launch date has been announced. The company was originally scheduled to launch its new flagship smartphone on December 2. However, the launch was postponed a couple of days ahead of the event. iQOO, at the time, did not reveal the launch date. The company has now confirmed that the iQOO 11 series launch event will be hosted on December 8. The company might also launch the Neo 7 SE alongside the flagship series.

The iQOO 11 Pro will launch alongside the vanilla model as part of the flagship series in China. The company will launch its flagship series in Indonesia as well. Let’s take a look at the iQOO 11 series specifications, features and other details.

iQOO 11 Series: Everything We Know So Far

The iQOO 11 series will compete against the upcoming Xiaomi 13 series, OnePlus 11 and other premium flagship smartphones launching soon. The company has confirmed a bunch of specifications and features ahead of the launch. For starters, the iQOO 11 Pro is confirmed to feature support for 200W fast charging for the 4700mAh battery.

The company has also confirmed most of the vanilla model’s specifications. The device will pack a 5000mAh battery and support 120W fast charging. It, along with the Pro model, will feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC under the hood. The smartphone is also confirmed to sport a 144Hz E6 AMOLED display with support for 1440Hz PWM Dimming and a peak brightness of 1800 nits. The screen will come with a 2K resolution.

Both phones will come with the Vivo V2 custom ISP for improved portrait mode shots and video recording in low light. Lastly, the devices are confirmed to feature UFS 4.0 storage and LPDDR5X RAM. The remaining details of the phones have been leaked by the rumour mill.

Both devices will sport a 6.78-inch 144Hz refresh rate panel with a 2K resolution. While the iQOO 11’s screen will remain flat, the Pro model’s screen will be curved. Both models will sport a triple-camera setup on the back. The 11 Pro is claimed to feature a 50MP f/1.75 primary Sony IMX866 sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide shooter with a 150-degree fisheye lens and a 13MP portrait telephoto sensor.

The vanilla model, on the other hand, will come with a 50MP main camera sensor, a 13MP ultrawide camera and an 8MP portrait sensor. Both phones will feature a 16MP front camera sensor for selfies and video calls.

The iQOO 11 is confirmed to launch in Legend Edition and Alpha colour options. The Pro model is said to launch in Alpha, Legend and Mint Green colours. While the Alpha and Legend colour options are said to sport a glass back, the Mint Green variant could sport a leather finish.

The devices are tipped to come with 8GB and 12GB RAM options along with up to 512GB of internal storage. iQOO’s latest flagship phones will run Android 13-based Origin OS Forest in China. The global models will have a layer of Funtouch OS 13 on top of Android.
