A New Variant of iQOO 12 Is Coming Soon

iQOO is celebrating its fourth anniversary in India and for this, iQOO India’s CEO, Nipun Maurya shared a letter with the users on social media channels. The iQOO 12 Anniversary Edition announcement was made in the same letter. However, the letter didn’t reveal how the anniversary edition will differ from the regular iQOO 12.

The iQOO 12 Anniversary Edition might be in red, a colour option that is exclusive to China. The iQOO 12 is available in Legend, Alpha, and Red colour options but only Legend and Alpha variants made it to India. Readers must note that this is just a speculation and there hasn’t been any confirmation about this by the company.

To recall, the iQOO 12 made its debut back in December in the country. The iQOO flagship is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM. It flaunts a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and 3000 nits peak brightness.

The phone has a triple-rear camera setup, including a 50MP primary rear camera with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 64MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom on the rear. The smartphone relies on a 16MP shooter for video calls and selfies. The iQOO 12 packs a 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging support, a stereo speaker setup, and an in-display fingerprint scanner, among other things.
