iQOO Neo 8 series is rumoured to launch soon. The company is expected to launch two phones in the Neo 8 series this time around. There will be the standard Neo 8 5G and a higher-end Neo 8 Pro. The company has not confirmed any details about the same, especially when the Neo 7 5G was recently launched in India as a rebadged Neo 7 SE 5G from China. Meanwhile, some key specifications of the iQOO Neo 8 Pro have leaked online. A new leak by tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed the key display features and some more details (via) about the Neo 8 Pro.

The tipster claims that the upcoming iQOO Neo 8 series phone will feature a 1.5K resolution display. Digital Chat Station also shared details about the phone’s processor and camera. Let’s take a look at the iQOO Neo 8 Pro specifications, features and other details ahead of the launch.

iQOO Neo 8 Pro: What to Expect Inside

The iQOO Neo 8 Pro will come with some premium hardware, according to the leaked details. The phone is likely to launch in May 2023. Ahead of the launch, tipster Digital Chat Station revealed that the phone will launch with a powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ SoC. If true, this would be the most premium SoC featured in an iQOO Neo series phone. The iQOO Neo 7 Racing Edition has a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. However, the Dimensity 9200+ SoC is likely to have an edge as it will offer incremental upgrades over the Dimensity 9200 SoC.

There are no details about the upcoming MediaTek SoC available at the moment. We can expect the company to unveil more details about its SoC later this year.

In addition to this, the tipster revealed that the Neo 8 Pro will feature a 50MP main camera sensor. iQOO will use a 1/1.5-inch camera sensor. At the moment, there are no details available about the sensor type or brand.

The phone, as mentioned above, will feature a 1.5K resolution display. This too can be seen as an upgrade over the currently available Neo 7 series, which mostly has a 1080p resolution display.

We can expect the phone to come with a triple-camera setup at least. It is also expected to feature up to 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. iQOO might also launch the phone with support for 120W fast charging out of the box. The phone, like the Neo 7 series, might get a beefy 5000mAh battery under the hood.

There is also the iQOO Neo 8 in the works, as mentioned above. According to some recent leaks, the phone will feature a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC under the hood. At the moment, it is unknown if the Neo 8 series will launch in India. iQOO has launched its Neo series in the past but the top-end models in the lineup found in China have not made it to India. By the looks of it, the Neo 8 5G is likely to be available in India later this year. That being said, it is just a speculation and we advise taking it with a pinch of salt.
