After rolling out Android 11 based OneUI 3.0 for Galaxy F41 earlier this morning, the Korean tech giant has now started rolling out the update for another mid-range Galaxy smartphone in India. Samsung Galaxy M21 is the latest smartphone to receive OneUI 3.0, based on Android 11. Galaxy M21 Android 11 update comes with version M215FXXU2BUAC and is currently rolling out in India. OneUI 3.0 update also brings the latest January Android security patch to the Galaxy M21. To those unaware, OneUI 3.0 comes with a refresh UI, dynamic lock screen, feature keyboard, and updated stock apps.

Samsung has also revamped the lock screen widgets and has improved security and performance. The company claims that the all-new UI OneUI 3.0 design will deliver an easy and user-friendly interface.

How to Install Android 11 based OneUI 3.0 on Galaxy M21?

Users can install the update on their devices by following the below-mentioned procedure, but before proceeding make sure that there is at least 30% charge left on your device.

  • Head over to the Settings app
  • Tap on System Updates
  • Check for the system update
  • Tap the Download Now button in case the update is available on your unit
  • Tap the Install button once the download is finished
  • The installation process will take some time, so wait patiently for the phone to reboot

Android OEMs follow staged roll-out for software updates, so you may or may not have received the update on your unit. In the staged roll-out phase, an update is randomly pushed out to a limited number of users and a broader rollout will start a few days later.

To recall, the Galaxy M21 packs a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, a 48MP triple-rear camera setup, and a 6,000mAh battery with 15W fast-charging. The smartphone sports Exynos 9611 coupled with Mali G72 GPU, and UFS 2.1 storage. Do you use a Galaxy M21 smartphone? Have you received the update on your unit? Do let us know in the comments below.
