Vivo V25 Pro Design and Colour-Changing Back

Vivo will launch the V25 Pro in India in the coming days. The phone is expected to launch on August 17 and go on sale starting August 25. It will be available for purchase via Flipkart, Vivo e-store and offline stores. Ahead of the launch, Flipkart has teased the design of the Pro model. The V25 Pro will launch in a Surfing Blue edition with a colour-changing back panel. The company used this tech first in the V23 Pro, which was launched earlier this year.

The V25 Pro features a fluorite Anti-Glare (AG) glass design, which changes the colour when sunlight or UV rays hit the back panel. The colour changes from blue to turquoise within seconds of the UV rays or sunlight hitting the back panel.

In our exclusive report, we also revealed that the phone will feature a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC under the hood. The V25 Pro will sport a 3D curved AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution. The teaser on Flipkart further reveals that the V25 Pro has a hole-punch cutout at the top centre of the display. The device will also support a 120Hz refresh rate.

Tipster Yogesh Brar listed some other specs of the phone. It is said to feature a 64MP triple-camera setup. The main camera will have support for optical image stabilisation (OIS). In addition to this, there will be an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies, the phone will have a 32MP front camera.

The V25 Pro will sport a 6.5-inch AMOLED display and pack a 4800 mAh battery with 66W fast charging support. It will run Android 12-based Funtouch OS 12 out of the box.
