Motorola is gearing up to launch its new premium smartphone globally. The company unveiled the Edge X30 in China as the first smartphone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. The same smartphone is set to launch outside China on February 24 as the Moto Edge 30 Pro.

The Motorola flagship smartphone is expected to launch with some minor tweaks here and there. As previously leaked by MySmartPrice, the Edge 30 Pro global model will have an in-display fingerprint scanner, compared to the China variant which has a side-mounted scanner. Moto Edge 30 Pro Specifications

Motorola will launch its first smartphone with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC outside China on February 24 as the Moto Edge 30 Pro. Ahead of the launch, tipster Yogesh Brar has listed the complete specifications of the phone.

The tipster claims that the Motorola flagship will come with a 144Hz refresh rate AMOLED display. The screen is 6.7-inch tall and has a Full HD+ resolution. The global variant will have a hole-punch cutout at the top centre for the front camera, according to previously leaked design renders. Brar claims that the company will use a 60MP front camera sensor on the Edge 30 Pro for selfies.

As mentioned earlier, the phone will feature Qualcomm’s top-tier Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. It will come paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The company might launch a higher storage option for select markets.

On the back, the phone has a triple-camera setup. It will come with a 50MP main camera sensor. The device will also feature a 50MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP depth sensor. The flagship smartphone will run Android 12 out of the box. It will have a layer of MyUX on top of Android.

The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery and supports 68W fast-charging out of the box. It will come with as many as 13 5G bands and support WiFi 6E as well. The pricing details are currently under wraps.
