OnePlus is reportedly working on a new Ace series smartphone in China. The Chinese OEM is working on the Pro model for the OnePlus Ace 2 smartphone. Although OnePlus launched the Ace 2 smartphone as OnePlus 11R in global markets, including India, the company revealed during the launch event that they won’t launch any smartphones in the OnePlus 11 series Which means the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro might launch with a different nomenclature. A report tipped the specifications of the forthcoming device as well as the timeline. And now the GeekBench 5 listing of the smartphone has been spotted.
OnePlus Ace 2 Pro GeekBench Listing
The upcoming smartphone from OnePlus has been listed in GeekBench 5 with the model number PJA110. The GeekBench listing reveals that the device features the chipset with one core at 3.19GHz, four cores at 2.80GHz, and three cores at 2.02GHz. The chipset details revealed by the GeekBench listing indicate that the company would equip the smartphone with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The chipset will pair with an Adreno 740 GPU and 16GB of RAM.
The smartphone will run on Android 13 out of the box. The upcoming OnePlus Ace 2 Pro smartphone has scored 1574 points in single-core and 5071 points in multi-core tests. Apart from this, the GeekBench listing doesn’t reveal any other specifications of the upcoming smartphone. Digital Chat Station recently revealed that OnePlus would launch the smartphone in August in China. Another tipster hinted that OnePlus would launch the smartphone in the global markets, including India.
Previously, Digital Chat Station had tipped that OnePlus would equip the smartphone with up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The smartphone will likely have a 6.74-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution. The display will have a refresh rate of 120Hz and a centre punch-hole cutout for the camera. The smartphone is likely to be backed with a 5000mAh battery. OnePlus would equip the smartphone with support for 150W fast charging tech.
Another report hinted that OnePlus would launch the smartphone with a lower 100W fast charging support. OnePlus is likely to equip the smartphone with a 16MP selfie camera. The primary difference with the flagship OnePlus 11 smartphone would lie in the rear cameras. OnePlus might skip the Hasselblad partnership for the upcoming smartphone. The company will likely equip the upcoming OnePlus smartphone with a 50MP primary rear camera with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS).
The primary sensor will be paired with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro shooter. OnePlus might equip the smartphone with an IR blaster similar to the recently launched OnePlus smartphones. A report hinted that OnePlus might price the device around Rs 50,000 in India. OnePlus would also equip the device with the iconic alert slider.
