OnePlus recently started sharing teasers for the launch of the upcoming OnePlus Ace 3 smartphone through teasers on Weibo. The complete specifications, pricing, and availability of the forthcoming Ace 3 were revealed through the China Telecom listing spotted by our team at MySmartPrice. The listing divulged that OnePlus would debut the upcoming smartphone in the Mingsha Gold color option. OnePlus has now started sharing teasers the Mingsha Gold colour option of the forthcoming device through a new teaser video. The phone is expected to launch on January 4 in China.

OnePlus divulges through the new teaser that the upcoming Mingsha Gold colour option is the special edition that will debut with the Ace 3 smartphone. The Chinese smartphone giant will debut the device under the OnePlus 12R moniker in international markets, including India. The teaser video confirms that OnePlus will equip the smartphone with a metal frame.

OnePlus equips the smartphone with a design similar to the OnePlus 12 5G smartphone. The Chinese smartphone giant ships the device with a gold melting glass process for the Mingsha Gold colour option.

The teaser reveals that the power button and volume rockers are placed on the right side of the device. OnePlus will continue to equip the alert slider on the left side of the device. OnePlus also confirms that it will ship the smartphone with a BOE X1 Oriental screen with a 1.5K resolution. The China Telecom listing confirmed that OnePlus will price the device at RMB 3299 (approx. Rs 39,500) for the base variant with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.

OnePlus will debut the device in 16GB RAM + 512GB storage and 16GB RAM + 1TB storage configurations. The 16GB RAM variants are likely priced at RMB 3,699 (approx. Rs 44,200) and RMB 3,999 (approx. Rs 48,000) respectively. The listing confirms that the smartphone will go on sale from January 31 in China.

Digital Chat Station confirmed that OnePlus will debut the device on January 4 in China. OnePlus has confirmed that the OnePlus 12 5G and OnePlus 12R 5G smartphones will debut globally on January 23 in India. Ishan Agarwal, a tipster on X (formerly Twitter), reveals that the OnePlus 12R 5G will debut in Black and Blue colour options.

The Chinese smartphone giant will likely equip the device with a 6.78-inch panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device will sport the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, built on a 4nm process. The smartphone will run Color OS 14 based on Android 14 out of the box in the Chinese markets.
