OnePlus confirmed that the OnePlus Ace 3 smartphone will debut on January 4 in China through a teaser recently shared on Weibo, the Chinese microblogging platform. Now OnePlus has shared a new teaser on Weibo confirming the debut of the OnePlus Buds 3 TWS alongside the OnePlus Ace 3 smartphone.
Our team at MySmartPrice previously revealed the renders and specifications of the Buds 3 TWS in collaboration with OnLeaks. The upcoming Buds 3 was also spotted in FCC certification revealing the battery capacity. The BIS certification obtained by the device confirmed that OnePlus will debut the TWS in India. The teasers OnePlus shared through Weibo reveal a design identical to the renders shared by MSP.
OnePlus Buds 3 Expected Specifications
The forthcoming TWS earbuds will debut with exceptional sound quality in the segment, according to the teasers. The upcoming Buds 3 TWS is already up for pre-orders on JD.com and other online retailers in China. The teaser confirms that OnePlus will launch the TWS in Black and Blue colour options. The charging case and earbuds follow a design language similar to its predecessors.
The earbuds will continue to sport a semi-in-ear design with a matte finish for the ear tips and a glossy finish for the stem. In addition, Evan Blass, a reliable tipster on X (formerly Twitter), shared the box contents of the upcoming Buds 3 TWS. OnePlus will ship the product with three additional ear tips, a USB Type A to USB Type C cable and a manual apart from the TWS.
The leaked teaser video reveals the capability to reject calls by pressing and holding the earbud for 3 seconds. The video also confirms the touch control to reduce or increase the volume of the media. OnePlus also offers quick pair connectivity with the upcoming OnePlus Buds 3 TWS. The controls can be customised using the connectivity app for the TWS.

The device’s FCC certification confirmed that it will be backed by a 525mAh battery with support for 4.5W charging. The FCC listing also revealed that each bud will sport a 58mAh battery.
MySmartPrice previously revealed that OnePlus will equip the device with a 10.4mm woofer and a 6mm tweeter. OnePlus will continue to equip the device with 48dB Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) support.
The earbuds with 58mAh battery capacity are tipped to offer a similar 9 hours of battery life with ANC off. The battery life can be extended up to 33 hours with the charging case. The battery life will be reduced to 6 and 22 hours with ANC turned on. The upcoming Buds 3 could incorporate fast charging similar to its predecessor.
The upcoming Buds 3 TWS can offer 5 hours of music playback with 10-minute charging. OnePlus is also likely to debut the TWS in India on January 23. OnePlus has confirmed the global debut of the OnePlus 12 5G and OnePlus 12R 5G smartphones in India on January 23. The official announcement from OnePlus is likely to arrive in the upcoming weeks.
