OPPO is gearing up for the launch of the F23 5G in India. The company has confirmed that it will launch its new F-series OPPO smartphone in India on May 15. The device is confirmed to be available via Amazon India. As expected, it will also be available via OPPO’s online and offline channels. Ahead of the launch, OPPO has confirmed the key specs and features of the F23 5G. The company has also revealed the phone’s design in a gold colour option.

OPPO F23 5G will launch in India on May 15. A new leak has now revealed that the phone will go on sale on May 18 via various channels. Tipster Guglani, who revealed the sale date, claimed that the F23 5G will launch in India for Rs 23,999. The tipster also revealed live images of the phone, which reveal the front and back panel design.
The F23 5G has a hole-punch cutout at the top centre of the display. It has a slightly thick chin bezel. The phone has a flat frame with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. There is a pill-shaped camera module on the back with two circular cutouts for the triple-camera setup and an LED flash. The images show the device in its Gold and Blue colour options.
OPPO has confirmed that the phone has a 64MP main camera sensor. There will be a 40x micro-lens camera on the back as well. It will also pack a 5000mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging. The device has a 120Hz display and 8GB of RAM. OPPO revealed that the phone will debut in India with up to 256GB of storage.
The device seems like a rebranded version of the OPPO A98 5G, which was launched earlier this month. In that case, the F23 5G will feature a 6.72-inch IPS LCD with a Full HD+ resolution. There will be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC under the hood. The phone will feature a 64MP main camera, a 2MP micro-lens and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, there will be a 32MP front camera. OPPO’s upcoming F-series smartphone will boot Android 13 out of the box and will have a layer of ColorOS 13 on top. OPPO has claimed that the phone will get four years of “lag-free experience.”
