OPPO Reno6 Series Official Renders Listed on JD, Reveals a Familiar Design and Key Specifications

Oppo is gearing up to unveil the Reno6 series devices on 27th May in China. The company is said to launch three smartphones under the Reno6 series – Oppo Reno6, Oppo Reno6 Pro, and Oppo Reno6 Pro+. Ahead of the launch, the design, and key specifications of the Reno6, and Reno6 Pro have surfaced on the web. The smartphones have been listed on JD a week before the launch. Let us take a look at the design, and key specifications of the upcoming Reno series smartphones.

Oppo Reno6 Pro+: Renders, and Key Specifications

Going by the renders, the Oppo Reno6 Pro+ will resemble the Reno5 Pro in terms of design. The Oppo Reno6 Pro+ seems to be slim in terms of thickness, and will have curves all around it. The e-commerce listing also confirms the upcoming Reno6 Pro+ will feature a 90Hz refresh rate display with a punch-hole notch on the top left corner.

The Oppo Reno6 Pro+ will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC. This is the same processor that we have seen on several recent devices such as POCO F3, Vivo X60, and OnePlus 9R. It will retail in up to 256GB storage variants. The smartphone should boot Android 11 based ColorOS skin.

The upcoming Reno6 Pro+ will feature a 50MP quad-rear camera setup. The primary 50MP lens will be an IMX766 sensor that will be accompanied by an ultra-wide-angle lens, and two other lenses. The smartphone will support 65W fast-charging.

Going by the renders, the Oppo Reno6 Pro will resemble its predecessor – Reno5 Pro in terms of design. The Oppo Reno6 Pro seems to be slim in terms of thickness, and will have curves all around it. The e-commerce listing also confirms the presence of a 6.7-inch HFD+ OLD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The display will also house the optical in-display fingerprint sensor, and a punch-hole notch on the top left corner

The Reno6 Pro will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processor. This is the same processor that we have seen on several recent devices such as Realme GT Neo, and Redmi K40 Game Edition. It will retail in 8GB RAM+ 128GB storage, and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variants. The smartphone will boot Android 11 based ColorOS skin.

The upcoming Reno6 Pro will feature a 64MP quad-rear camera setup. The primary 64MP sensor on the smartphone will be accompanied by an 8MP shooter, which should be the ultra-wide-angle lens. There will also be two 2MP sensors on the device. The Reno6 Pro will pack a 32MP shooter for selfies, and video calls.

Oppo Reno6 Pro will make use of dual-cell battery tech, as a result, it will support 65W fast-charging. The e-commerce listing reveals the presence of a 2200mAh battery, so the total battery capacity of the device should be 4400mAh. The Reno6 Pro will feature a Type-C charging port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It will be just 7.6mm thick, and will weigh around 172grams. The smartphone will retail in Summer Harumi, Galaxy Dream, Night Sea color variants.

The smartphone will feature 90Hz refresh rate display with a punch-hole notch on the top left corner. The Reno6 will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor.
