PUBG Mobile is one of the bestowed Battle Royale games on the mobile gaming platform. The game is known for its entertaining gameplay and intriguing graphics which keep getting updated by the developers regularly. Being released in 2018, the game has a long history of numerous spectacular collaborations spanning from TV to movies, to even other video games and so much more.
The developers are now gearing up for another collaboration as PUBG Mobile 2.8 update is approaching. PUBG Mobile has teased a new collaboration with finger-lickin’ good, ‘KFC,’ with a social media post. According to the post, the crossover is scheduled to take place in October 2023.
The upcoming PUBG Mobile x KFC collaboration is planned to include a range of in-game goods, events, and promotions commemorating the two firms’ partnership.

PUBG Mobile to Partner With KFC in October
The social media post contains a helmet and a chicken bucket along with a parachute and pan present on it. The post reads, “How do you like your chicken dinners? Fried with a Molotov? Grilled until the opponent gives up their squad’s position? Share how you like your Chicken Dinners & be prepared for an exciting collab this October!”
According to the post, the collaboration is set to happen this October. Earlier last month, Krafton teased the same collaboration for PUBG Battlegrounds with a social media post. The KFC Collaboration will take place in October 2023 for both PUBG Battlegrounds and PUBG Mobile.
This is not the first time that PUBG universe has collaborated with the international chain of fast food restaurants KFC. Krafton has partnered up with KFC for PUBG Mobile in the MENA region which brought in the “Pochinki Twister Battle Box Meal” that included a fried chicken twister, french fries, a drink, a KFC parachute and a PUBG-themed toy.
The forthcoming partnership will be much more thrilling since it will take place on a worldwide basis. Fans can expect new in-game items including KFC-themed outfits and weapons, as well as events and campaigns where they may win KFC goodies.
BGMI players can expect the same collaboration to happen in-game in its next update as the game shares most of the content from PUBG Mobile.

PUBG Mobile 2.8 update is bringing a lot of changes to the game and is due to release this month. A major addition that is being made to the game is the Friendly Fragmentation update where Your teammate will not receive any damage from your grenade, but you will if you are close to the damaged area of the grenade. A new zombie mode will be introduced to the game, in which players must battle zombies and destroy them while surviving their dirt assaults.
