The Realme 10 Pro 5G made its debut earlier this month in China. The Realme 10 Pro series consists of two devices – Realme 10 Pro 5G and Realme 10 Pro+ 5G. The brand is all set to launch the Realme 10 Pro+ in India and other global markets on December 8. Ahead of the launch, the unboxing of the Realme 10 Pro+ global units has surfaced on the web. The unboxing images reveal that the Realme 10 Pro+ global variant will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 920 processor.
To those unaware, the Realme 10 Pro+ 5G, launched in China, is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1080 processor. Take a look at the Realme 10 Pro+ global variant unboxing.
The biggest highlight of the Realme 10 Pro+ is its curved display. Realme, for the first time, is using a curved display on a number series smartphone. The brand will retain the curved display on global units as well. However, the Realme 10 Pro+ 5G global units will be equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 920 and not Dimensity 1080 which powers the device’s Chinese counterpart.
Realme had used the MediaTek Dimensity 920 on the Realme 9 Pro+, so in terms of performance, the Realme 10 Pro+ global variant may not offer any improvements. However, this won’t apply to Realme 10 Pro+ 5G Indian variants as the brand has already confirmed MediaTek Dimensity 1080 on the device’s teaser page. The MediaTek Dimensity 1080 brings marginal improvements over its predecessor – Dimensity 920 as can be seen in the benchmark score posted by tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore.
