The first fitness band from Realme had a heart rate sensor, and it was equipped with multiple sports modes like walking, hiking, climbing, yoga, fitness, spinning, and cricket mode. The certification reveals the model number of the Realme Band 2 and Bluetooth version ahead of the official launch. Let’s take a look ahead at the details revealed by the Bluetooth SIG certification:
Realme Band 2 Receives Bluetooth SIG Certification
If we go through the Bluetooth SIG listing, we can see that the Realme Band 2 carries the model number as the RMW2010. The fitness band is granted green light from Bluetooth SIG today i.e on July 14th, if we go by the details revealed by the certification document. As for the connectivity purpose, the Realme Band 2 will be making use of Bluetooth v5.1. And that’s all the details we can grab from the Bluetooth SIG certification at the moment. The other details of the Realme Band 2 such as display size, battery capacity information and other features are not known, considering that we are seeing the Realme Band 2 for the first time on any certification.
To recall, the company had launched its first fitness band in India last year. The Realme Band had a 0.96-inch display, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, and it was compatible with devices running Android 5.0 and above. The first fitness tracker from the company even had a heart rate sensor and IP68 ratings for withstanding any water splash or dust. It also had sleep tracking support and a step counter feature. As mentioned above, the Realme Band offered nine modes such as walking, running, yoga, hiking, fitness, climbing, bike, spinning, and Cricket mode. The Realme Band also displayed text notifications from multiple apps, SMS notifications, and call notifications. The Realme Band packed a 90mAh battery which was claimed to last for 10 days on a single charge. The Realme Band was available in three color options – Black, Olive Green, and Yellow. As mentioned above, the price of the Realme Band 2 in India started at around Rs 1,499.
