Realme is gearing up for the launch of its next flagship smartphone. The company will unveil the GT 2 Pro worldwide on December 20. The device will be Realme’s most expensive smartphone and will pack top-of-the-line hardware. The company has started teasing some of the key specs of the device. One of the confirmed details include a 150-degree ultrawide camera sensor. Alongside the Pro model, Realme is also expected to unveil the GT 2, which will be a toned-down version of the Pro model. Realme will launch the GT 2 series worldwide on December 20. The devices are expected to unveil soon in India as well. The vanilla model, dubbed GT 2, is likely to debut alongside the GT 2 Pro on December 20. Realme will unveil the GT 2 specifications and features at the event. While the listing does not reveal the launch date, it does hint at an imminent launch.
While there is no word on the specifications of the vanilla model, details of the GT 2 Pro have leaked. The phone will have a 6.7-inch flat AMOLED, 2K display with a 120Hz refresh rate support. It is likely to have an under-screen 32MP front camera as well.
On the back, the device will have a Nexus 6P-inspired triple-camera setup. There will be a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor with OIS and another 50MP sensor for ultrawide images. The camera setup will be completed by an 8MP telephoto camera.
The phone will feature Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, up to 12GB RAM and 1TB storage. There will be a 4500/ 5000 mAh battery with 65W fast charging. Lastly, it will run Android 12 out of the box with Realme UI 3.0 skin on top.
