Realme entered the smart wearable market in India a couple of years ago and in mid-2022, the company has launched over half a dozen smartwatches. Back in July 2021, the company announced the Realme Watch 2 in India along with the Realme Watch 2 Pro and now, it looks like the company is gearing up for the launch of the third-gen smartwatch in the country.
The successor to the Watch 2, the Realme Watch 3 has been spotted on IMDA confirming the wearable’s moniker and in addition to that, the company watch has also passed the BIS certification, hinting at an imminent launch in the Indian market. Let us take a look at the Watch 3 details.
Realme Watch 3 Listed on IMDA and BIS
An upcoming Realme product with RMW2108 model number has been listed on the IMDA (Infocomm Media Development Authority) website, Singapore. This certification of the product confirms the name as the “Realme Watch 3” and in addition to that, the listing also confirms it will be a Bluetooth enabled smartwatch. The watch has been listed under the Low-Power device category.
Further, the same watch has also been spotted on the BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) database revealing the same model number and manufacturing address as Uttar Pradesh. This means the upcoming Realme Watch 3 could possibly be a Made in India product as well. Both the certifications do not reveal any specifications or features of the smart wearable. Lastly, the Realme Watch 3 has been also listed on SIRIM database, which also confirms the moniker.
