The Google Pixel Watch 2 launch is expected to happen soon as the search engine giant is gearing up to announce the new Pixel series lineup of devices. Going by the previous track record, the Google Pixel event is likely to be held during the first week of October and the date is expected to be announced soon.

The Pixel Watch 2 has been in the news for the past few days ahead of the official announcement. Firstly, the device was spotted on FCC revealing the strap details and variants. This was followed by the Google Play Console listing, which revealed the upcoming watch’s design and specifications. Now, the unreleased Pixel Watch 2 has been spotted on the IMDA website. Let’s take a look at the details.

Google Pixel Watch 2 Listed on IMDA Website

The Google Pixel Watch 2 with the “G4TSL” model number has been spotted on the IMDA (Infocomm Media Development Authority) website. The same model was also spotted on the FCC listing previously. This is a Wi-Fi-only variant and the listing confirms the same. As you can see from the image below, this variant of the Pixel Watch 2 will come with Wi-Fi (2.4GHz) and Bluetooth connectivity. The device has been listed under the Low-power device category.

Apart from this, the website does not reveal much as of now.

Pixel Watch 2: What We Know So Far

Based on the most recent Google Play Console Listing, we know quite a few specs of the device. For starters, as per the listing, the Pixel Watch 2 will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 (SW5100) chipset, which is specifically built for smartwatches. This powerful SoC will be paired with 2GB of RAM.

In terms of screen resolution, the Pixel Watch 2 is said to feature a 383×384 pixel resolution display. The Watch 2 is tipped to come in LTE as well as Wi-Fi-only variants. The watch is also said to offer four new watch faces Accessible, Arc, Analog Bold, and Bold Digital. The Watch 2 is also said to offer a 306mAh battery, which is a slight bump from the first gen device. The Pixel Watch 2 is said to run on Wear OS 4 out of the box.
