Redmi 9 newly leaked image

As seen in the leaked live image, the Redmi 9 appears to have a polycarbonate rear. At the very middle, we can see a quadruple rear camera setup, which is vertically aligned. The camera setup reminds us of the previous year’s Redmi Note 8 Pro smartphone and has a physical fingerprint scanner at the bottom. The camera module is surrounded by a circular ring, much like the Redmi K30/POCO X2. Also, we can see that the Redmi 9 will come in two paint jobs – teal and violet (if at all the leaked image is legitimate).

As far as the specifications of the device are concerned, the Redmi 9 is expected to sport a 6.53-inch IPS LCD panel with a Full HD+ resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels. Under the hood, the Redmi 9 is supposedly going to be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G70 processor, which will be paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, which will have support for up to 512GB of storage expansion.

Coming to the quadruple-camera setup of the device, it is said to have 13MP, 8MP, 5MP, and 2MP sensors. The device will reportedly feature a large 5,000mAh battery, which will receive power via a USB Type-C charging port. The device is said to have retained a 3.5mm headphone jack.
