Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi will launch its Redmi K30 Pro smartphone on March 24, 2020 in China. The company has been pretty open about the specifications and features of the device lately, as it has teased pretty much everything about the device way ahead of the official launch using its official Weibo social media handles. We already know that the Redmi K30 Pro will feature a 64MP primary sensor, which will come with support for 8K video recording. The device will also feature a pop-up selfie camera. Well, more on what we already know later. First up, let’s focus on what’s new. The company recently teased several new features of the Redmi K30 Pro smartphone, a “Super Bluetooth” feature and the presence of a Super Night Scene 2.0 mode to name a few. Take a look at what we know about the Redmi K30 Pro smartphone so far.

Redmi K30 Pro: Features We Know So Far

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer took to Weibo once again, yesterday, to inform us about some of the key specifications and features of the Redmi K30 Pro. Notably, the device will come with a new Super Bluetooth feature alongside Bluetooth 5.1 support. The company claims that the connection range with this new technology has been extended to up to 400 meters. For your reference, the typical range for Bluetooth 5.1 is about 243 meters, meaning that the Redmi K30 Pro would offer nearly twice the range a typical smartphone touting Bluetooth 5.1 does. The company has not explicitly mentioned how it has been able to achieve such a range, but they have to leave something for the launch event too, right?

Moving on, the brand has also revealed that the Redmi K30 Pro will be able to connect to three networks at the same time, thanks to its 5G Multilink feature. What it means in layman’s terms is that you would be able to connect to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connection, a 4G/5G mobile network, and a 5GHz Wi-Fi connection at the same time to maintain a stable internet connectivity, which would particularly be useful while playing online games.

Coming to the next feature that Xiaomi revealed yesterday, the Redmi K30 Pro smartphone will come equipped with a Super Night Scene 2.0 mode. The company has also posted a sample image taken with the help of the mode and the results look promising, at least if we consider the picture which was posted on the company’s official handle. The handle also posted several camera shots taken from the Redmi K30 Pro, which confirm that the device will come with support for up to 30X zoom. Below are the images for your reference:

As far as the rest of the specifications of the Redmi K30 Pro go, the device will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 5G mobile platform, which will be assisted by an LPDDR5 RAM and a UFS 3.1 storage. The Redmi K30 Pro will flaunt a quadruple rear camera setup and a pop-up selfie snapper. The display of the device will be a 60Hz Samsung AMOLED panel.
