The Redmi K60 Ultra launch date officially confirmed by Xiaomi on Weibo. While we already knew that the smartphone will launch in August, thanks to an event conducted in partnership with MediaTek and Pixelworks earlier this month. Another leak suggested that the flagship Redmi K60 Ultra smartphone will launch on August 14 alongside Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 and Xiaomi Pad 6 Max. Now, the company has confirmed the launch date along with several core specifications of the device. Let’s take a look at everything confirmed by Xiaomi and all we know so far about the Redmi K60 Ultra.

Xiaomi has been teasing the specifications of the Redmi K60 Ultra for some time now and also announced the device at the event with MediaTek and Pixelworks. Now, the company has confirmed that the phone is indeed launching next week on August 14 and confirmed additional specifications of the flagship device.

The smartphone maker has claimed that the Redmi K60 Ultra scored an impressive 1.77 million points on AnTuTu, thanks to the Dimensity 9200+ chipset at its core. This is a flagship processor with a peak clock speed of 3.34GHz. The K60 Ultra also flaunts a dedicated X7 chip by Pixelworks, which is claimed to offer enhanced gaming, display viewing, and imaging experience. The phone features a Furious Engine 2.0 as well, which appears to be a dedicated performance mode to boost the performance of both Dimensity 9200+ and Pixelworks X7 chip.

Xiaomi has also confirmed in its Weibo post that the Redmi K60 Ultra will ship with a 1.5K flat OLED screen with a 144Hz screen refresh rate. The processor will be backed by up to 24GB RAM and 1TB of storage. Xiaomi has also shared the official render of the device in its Weibo post showing the camera setup.

We can see that the smartphone will feature a 50MP triple camera setup with secondary cameras speculated to be ultra-wide and macro units. However, no other details have been confirmed by the brand. We should know more next week when the phone goes official.

Speaking of the official renders, the phone is shown in two colours – Black and Green. The rear panel has a familiar design, which we have already seen on the flagship Xiaomi 13 series smartphones. There’s no word on the India launch, but it’s speculated that the Redmi K60 Ultra might launch globally as the Xiaomi 13T Pro.
