Xiaomi has revealed the launch date of Mi Mix Fold 3.

Xiaomi is gearing up for a significant product launch in China in August. Lu Weibing, Xiaomi President, recently confirmed that the company will launch Mi Mix Fold 3 in August in China. The company also shared a teaser recently confirming the August launch and partnership with Leica for the upcoming foldable smartphone. Xiaomi conducted an event in partnership with MediaTek and Pixelworks to announce the Redmi K60 Ultra smartphone launch. The company confirmed that the forthcoming smartphone will be launched in August. Xiaomi has shared a new teaser on its Weibo page, revealing the upcoming Mix Fold 3 launch date.
Mi Mix Fold 3 Launch Date in China and Confirmed Specifications
The teaser shared by Xiaomi on its Weibo account confirms that Xiaomi will launch Mi Mix Fold 3 on August 14 in China. A tipster confirmed that the company would launch the foldable smartphone with K60 Ultra and Xiaomi Pad 6 Max. The upcoming Mix Fold 3 is expected to compete against Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Honor Magic V Fold. Leica has confirmed that the forthcoming Mix Fold 3 will feature a Leica optical full-focus quad camera module.
The upcoming foldable device will have thin and multiple solid lenses. The Mix Fold 3 is expected to feature an ultra-wide-angle and periscope lens apart from the primary sensor. We recently spotted the upcoming smartphone at the 3C certification, revealing its fast charging capabilities. The 3C certification indicates that the foldable smartphone will be equipped with 67W fast charging tech. The smartphone is tipped to feature a 4800 mAh battery with support for 50W wireless charging tech.
The event conducted by Xiaomi in partnership with MediaTek and Pixelworks confirms the key specifications of the upcoming Redmi K60 Ultra smartphone. Xiaomi confirms that the smartphone will be equipped with MediaTek Dimesnity 9200+ SoC. The chipset is built on a 4nm process with a peak clock speed of 3.35GHz. The company also claims that the smartphone scores the highest score on any smartphone in the AnTuTu benchmark scores. The smartphone has scored over 1,774,714 points in the AnTuTu benchmark.
Xiaomi will also equip the smartphone with a dedicated X7 chipset. Xiaomi also confirms that the device will be equipped with Furious Engine 2.0. The dedicated Pixelworks chipset will ensure the device will offer a better gaming experience and imaging. Xiaomi also confirms that the smartphone will have an OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a refresh rate of 144Hz. Xiaomi’s President revealed that Xiaomi has established a new factory in China. Mi Mix Fold 3 would be the first smartphone manufactured in the new smart factory.
