Xiaomi 13T Pro Tipped to Be Global Redmi K60 Ultra With Different Cameras

A tipster has revealed that Xiaomi will launch the Redmi K60 Ultra in the global markets under the Xiaomi 13T Pro moniker.

Xiaomi recently hosted a launch event in China where they unveiled the Redmi K60 Ultra smartphone. The Chinese OEM also unveiled some products, including Xiaomi Mix Fold 3, Xiaomi Pad 6 Max, and more in the event. Xiaomi has confirmed that the company won’t launch Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 smartphone globally. A previous report claimed that Xiaomi will launch Redmi K60 Ultra smartphone in the global markets under the Xiaomi 13T Pro moniker. A report from 4gnews also tipped the smartphone’s launch date for the international markets. Tipster Kacper Skrzypek has tipped that Xiaomi will launch the device with different rear cameras.

Xiaomi 13T Pro Leaked Specifications

Kacper Skrzypek confirms that the upcoming Xiaomi 13T Pro will be the global variant of the Redmi K60 Ultra smartphone. The tipster adds that Xiaomi will equip the 13T Pro smartphone with a primary 50MP Sony IMX 707 sensor on the rear. The primary sensor will be paired with a secondary 50MP OmniVision OV50D telephoto sensor and a 13 MP Omnivision OV13B ultra-wide-angle lens. In contrast, the Redmi K60 Ultra features a 50MP Sony IMX 800 sensor with OIS.

The sensor is paired with a secondary 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a tertiary 2MP depth lens. Xiaomi will downgrade the primary sensor for the global markets to make way for the telephoto and larger ultra-wide-angle lens. The tipster confirms that Xiaomi will equip the smartphone with the same 20MP Sony IMX 596 selfie camera. Kacper Skrzypek adds that Xiaomi won’t launch the smartphone in India under Xiaomi, Redmi, or Poco branding.

We might have to wait for further announcements on whether Xiaomi will launch the vanilla Xiaomi 13T smartphone in India. The accidental Amazon UK listing of the forthcoming device confirmed the presence of a 144Hz CrystalRes AMOLED display. The listing also confirmed that the device will be backed by a 5000mAh battery with 120W wired fast charging support.

Amazon UK also revealed the 12GB + 512GB pricing, indicating that Xiaomi will launch the smartphone in global markets with up to 512GB of storage. The listing teased that Xiaomi will equip the smartphone with a leading 4nm process. However, the GeekBench listing of the smartphone confirmed that the device will be equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ SoC.

Xiaomi claimed the Redmi K60 Ultra scored 1,774,714 points in AnTuTu benchmarks with the same chipset. Xiaomi equipped the K60 Ultra smartphone with LPDDR5X and UFS 4.0 memory type. 4gnews report claimed that Xiaomi will launch the smartphone in the global markets on September 1. The upcoming smartphone was recently spotted in NBTC and IMDA certifications, hinting that the launch is nearing.
