Redmi K70 Leaked Renders Show Off Redesigned Camera Bump

The Redmi K70 seems to have a wider camera layout compared to K60.

  • Redmi K70 render images have leaked online, giving a glimpse into Xiaomi’s upcoming offering.
  • The upcoming Redmi K70 features an almost bezel-less design with a punch-hole cutout on the front.
  • Unlike the K60, its successor features a broader camera design comprising three sensors and an LED flash.

Xiaomi is preparing to unveil the Redmi K70 soon, which is expected to arrive as a POCO F6 in the Indian market. The device was recently spotted on the 3C certification website. The official launch in China is said to happen next month. Now, a set of renders of the device has surfaced on the internet, giving a glimpse into Xiaomi’s upcoming offering.

Redmi K70 Design

In the images, the forthcoming Redmi K70 seems to have an almost bezel-less design with a punch-hole cutout on the front. The right side of the frame appears to host volume rockers and a power button, while the upper portion suggests the presence of a speaker grille and a microphone.

The notable change lies in the camera configuration. In contrast to its predecessor, the Redmi K60, which featured a rectangular camera island in the corner with three lenses in a line, the K70 displays an island running across the phone’s width. This island includes four elements forming a square, comprising three sensors and an LED flash.

Redmi K70 Might Debut as POCO F6 in India

A POCO device recently appeared on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification website. The smartphone was listed under the POCO brand with the model number 2311DRK481. Notably, the Redmi K70 bears the model number 2311DRK48C, indicating that it may launch as the POCO F6 in India. The anticipated release is slated for the first quarter of 2024.

To recap, Redmi introduced only one of its three K60 models, the base Redmi K60 in India last year as the POCO F5 Pro. However, there are speculations that two Redmi K70 variants, including the K70 and K70E, could be introduced globally under the POCO brand. The Redmi K70 Pro on the other hand, is expected to remain exclusive to the Chinese market.

The POCO F6 with the model number 2311DRK48I was previously spotted on the IMEI database. The POCO F6 Pro smartphone was listed with model numbers 23113RKC6G and 23113RKC6I.

It is essential to note that the initial certifications provide limited details about the smartphones, and this information should be taken with caution. Official confirmation is awaited for more accurate details.
