Samsung recently concluded its first Unpacked event in Seoul, South Korea where it unveiled the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 series along with the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 smartphones. The Galaxy Tab S9 series includes Tab S9, Tab S9+ and Tab S9 Ultra. A couple of days ago, Samsung accidentally confirmed the moniker of its upcoming Galaxy Tab S9 FE series tablets. A tipster also revealed the pricing of the upcoming Tab S9 FE. We have also spotted the forthcoming Tab S9 FE and Tab S9 FE Plus in the Safety Korea certification. A report from Pricebaba reveals that they have spotted a budget Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 in the FCC listing.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 Tipped Specifications

The report from Pricebaba reveals that they have spotted a new Samsung tablet with the model number SM-X115 in the FCC listing. The listing also confirms the moniker of the upcoming budget tablet from Samsung. The FCC listing confirms that the upcoming tablet will bring support for LTE, Wi-Fi, FM, GPS, Bluetooth, and more. Samsung will equip the tablet with a 5100 mAh battery which will bring support for 15W fast charging tech.

The FCC listing also confirms that the forthcoming tablet will have a dimension of 210.7mm in length and 124.7mm in width. The upcoming tablet will also feature a 3.5mm headphone jack and USB type C port. The listing doesn’t reveal any other specifications of the forthcoming budget tablet from Samsung. Another report confirms that the tablet has also been certified by the Wi-Fi Alliance. The Wi-Fi Alliance has also certified the Wi-Fi-only model of the tablet with the model number SM-X110.

The schematics and live images revealed through the FCC listing confirm that the device will be equipped with a single-rear camera. The upcoming Galaxy Tab A9 tablet will be the successor to the Galaxy Tab A8 launched in December 2021. Samsung equipped the Galaxy Tab A8 with a large 10.5-inch TFT LCD display with a resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels. The display will have a screen-to-body ratio of 81.1%, a pixel density of 216 PPI and a ratio of 16:10. Under the hood, Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 features Unisoc Tiger T618 SoC which is built on a 12nm process.

The octa-core chipset with two Cortex A75 cores are clocked at 2.0GHz and six Cortex A55 cores are clocked at 2.0GHz. The chipset pairs with Mali G52 MP2 GPU, 2GB / 3GB / 4GB RAM and 32GB / 64GB / 128GB of storage. Samsung also includes support for expanding the storage via a micro-SD card slot. The tablet is equipped with an 8MP rear camera with Autofocus and a 5MP selfie camera with support for recording videos at 1080p @ 30fps. The tablet is backed by a large 7040 mAh battery which supports 15W fast charging tech.
