Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 5G will launch later this month. The company will host its new Galaxy Unpacked event on August 10 for the launch of new foldable smartphones. Ahead of the official launch, Samsung has started taking pre-reservations for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and the Galaxy Z Flip 4.
Customers who wish to pre-reserve the foldable phones will have to pay Rs 1,999 on Samsung India’s official website or exclusive stores. Those who do so will be eligible to claim additional benefits worth Rs 5,000 following the purchase.
Samsung has not revealed the pricing details of the two foldable phones. However, going by previous launches, the Flip 4 is likely to be priced under a lakh rupees, whereas the Galaxy Z Fold 4 could be priced above Rs 1.3 lakh in India.
While the pricing details are unknown, the specifications of the two foldable Samsung smartphones have leaked online.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 Specifications
The Galaxy Z Fold 4 is said to sport a 7.6-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The cover screen will be 6.2-inch tall and have an HD+ resolution. There will be one hole-punch cutout, which will be on the cover screen for the 10MP front camera. The foldable display will feature a 16MP under-screen camera.
On the outside, the Fold 4 5G will feature a triple-camera setup. The rear camera module will house a 50MP primary camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera and a 12MP telephoto camera with 2x zoom.
Under the hood, the device will pack a 4400 mAh battery with 45W fast charging,15W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging support. It will draw power from a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. Samsung is expected to launch the Fold 4 with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.

The Z Flip 4 will have a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate support. It will have a larger 2-inch cover display. The phone’s foldable display will sport a hole-punch cutout for the 10MP front camera. It will feature a dual-camera setup on the back with a 12MP main camera and a 12MP ultrawide camera.
The Flip 4 will feature a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC under the hood. It will pack a 3700 mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. Samsung is expected to launch the Flip 4 with 8GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. Both devices will run Android 12-based OneUI 4.1 out of the box.
