Battlegrounds Mobile India, popularly known as BGMI, its esports is getting bigger with each day. New teams making their way into the community with multiple tournaments with hefty prize pools taking place everyday. Skyesports, one of the leading esports tournament organizers in South Asia, are gearing up to host the fifth annual edition of Skyesports Championship 5.0.

Skyesports Championship 5.0, is going to be the biggest esports event in terms of its prize pool. Additionally, Skyesports Championship 5.0 features three titles including BGMI, Counter Strike 2, and Real Cricket 22. The competition is set to take in multiple phases with the finals culminating with a LAN event from November 1 to 5.

Skyesports Championship 5.0 BGMI Qualifiers Registrations Announced: Here is the Format

Skyesports has opened up registrations for open-for-all qualifiers for BGMI. The registrations went live on October 10 at 10 AM and closed by 5 PM yesterday. The slots for the qualifiers were limited to 1000 and the registration phase completed as the slots were filled. The qualifiers have begun today with the registered teams.

A total of 1000 registered teams will be split into groups of 50 in the open-for-all qualifiers which are set to take place in multiple rounds like Quarter Finals and Semi-Finals. Out of these rounds, only 12 top teams from the Semi-Finals will advance for the Grand Finals. Skyesports Champions 5.0 Finals will be held in Koramangala Indoor Stadium, Bangalore.

The twelve qualified teams will be joining four invited teams in BGMI LAN finale which are mentioned below:

  • GodLike Esports: Defending Skyesports Championship BGMI Winners
  • Big Brothers Esports: Champions of the Skyesports Skirmish Series 2023
  • Soul Esports and Blind Esports: Top 2 teams of the Skyesports Champions Series (SCS) 2023

Skyesports Championship 5.0 Grand Finale features a staggering prize pool of Rs 2.12 crores, grassroots qualifying, and some esports action. Furthermore, AMD, an expert in high-performance graphics, computing, and visualisation technologies, is powering the Skyesports Championship 5.0. The event, which spans PC and mobile gaming and includes gamers from India, South Asia, and the Middle East, gives a perfect chance to demonstrate AMD’s graphics capability.

Earlier today, Skyesports has announced that the champions of BGIS 2023 will also get a direct invited slot at Skyesports Championship 5.0.
