Vivo is gearing up for the launch of the Vivo V29 series smartphones for the Indian market. A recent report revealed that the Vivo V29 series devices namely the Vivo V29 5G and the Vivo V29 Pro 5G will launch in India by the end of this month. Furthermore, the report also disclosed that the Vivo V29 5G will launch in India in the Majestic Red colour option. Vivo V29 Pro 5G To Feature 50MP Primary Camera
As per the specifications shared by industry sources, the Vivo V29 5G and the Vivo V29 Pro 5G will get major upgrades for the best portrait photography experience. Both these upcoming smartphones will have portrait-focused cameras which will capture the best in class professional-level portrait photos. The Vivo V29 Pro 5G will boast a dedicated 50MP (Sony IMX766 sensor) and an accompanying camera with a 12-megapixel Sony IMX663 sensor fitted with a 50mm lens for portraits. These upcoming smartphones will have a new feature dubbed as Smart Aura Light which will offer adjustable lighting from 1800K (warm) to 4500K (cool).
Furthermore, both these devices will come with Vivo India’s exclusive wedding-style portrait feature. The Vivo V29 5G will debut in India in three colours, whereas the Vivo V29 Pro 5G will launch in two colour options. These devices will be priced at under Rs 40,000 in India as per the details shared by our source. Currently, Vivo is yet to reveal the launch of the Vivo V29 5G and the V29 Pro 5G. However, considering that these devices are tipped to launch in the country by the end of this month, the company might soon reveal the launch date of both smartphones.
The specifications of the Vivo V29 5G are already known to us considering that it already has been launched in the global market. We can expect the Vivo V29 5G India variant to offer the same specifications as that of the global model. To recall, the Vivo V29 5G features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display that has a Full HD+ resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The device is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 778G processor which is aided with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
As for the optics purpose, the Vivo V29 5G features a 50MP triple-camera setup and a 50MP selfie camera. The device packs a 4,600mAh battery which supports 80W fast charging. Last but not least, the device also has an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and stereo speakers.
