However, the event got delayed for unknown reasons, and Vivo launched the V29e smartphone first in the V29 series in India. The tipster has revealed the smartphone’s global launch date and the smartphone’s launch timeline in India.
Paras Guglani shared a leaked training image of the upcoming vanilla V29 5G smartphone. The training document describes the upcoming smartphone with the tagline Train the Trainers. The document also teases the Aura Light, which is dedicated to portrait photography. The tipster shared another teaser image of the upcoming device, highlighting the Aura light. Paras hinted in the tweet that the vanilla V29 5G smartphone will soon launch in the global and Indian markets.
A new tweet from Paras reveals that Vivo will launch the Vivo V29 5G smartphone for the global markets on September 7. The tipster adds that Vivo will also launch the smartphone soon in India. Vivo is expected to launch the smartphone by the end of September. The company is expected to price the smartphone between Rs 30,000 and Rs 40,000. Vivo launched the smartphone in the Czech markets for CZK 11,990 (approx. Rs 44,315) for the sole variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.
A couple of weeks ago, the vanilla V29 5G smartphone made its way to the BIS listing, hinting that the launch is nearing. The BIS listing reveals that the upcoming smartphone will have the model number V2250. The listing doesn’t reveal any other specifications of the forthcoming device. Vivo will equip the smartphone with a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution. Under the hood, the device will feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC, built on a 6nm process.
