Vivo, last month, launched its first V29 series smartphone – the Vivo V29e 5G in the Indian market. The company is now gearing up to expand the lineup with the Vivo V29 5G and the Vivo V29 Pro 5G. As per the official announcement, the Vivo V29 lineup will debut on October 4 in the country. Ahead of the launch, Vivo has now confirmed that the Vivo V29 series will be sold exclusively via Flipkart.
To those unaware, the Vivo V29 series, for the global markets, was unveiled last month. The Vivo V29 is a rebranded Vivo S17 which was introduced back in May in China. Based on this, the Vivo V29 Pro is expected to be a rebadged Vivo S17 Pro from the Chinese market. Vivo has also revealed some of the key specifications of the Vivo V29 series through the launch micro-site.
Vivo has confirmed that the Vivo V29 series will come in three colour options – Majestic Red, Himalayan Blue, and Space Black. The Majestic Red colour variant will feature the colour changing fluorite AG glass. Whereas, the Himalayan Blue colour variant will feature 3D particle technology. Vivo has also confirmed that the Vivo V29 and Vivo V29 Pro will weigh 186 grams and 188 grams respectively.
The Vivo V29 Pro is also confirmed to sport a Sony IMX663 telephoto portrait sensor which is claimed to offer DSLR like background bokeh. Apart from it, the Vivo V29 series will offer Night Portrait with Smart Aura Light. This Aura Light will offer adjustable lighting ranging from 1800K (warm) to 4500K (cool), as revealed exclusively by us earlier. Out report also revealed that the V29 Pro will also feature a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor. The Vivo V29 series devices will be priced under Rs 40,000 in the country.
