91Mobiles has learned from its sources that Vivo will soon launch the Y91i smartphone in India. According to the tech publication, the Vivo Y91i will be priced INR 7,990, and it will be available to purchase starting from the first week of March. If the report is to be believed, there isn’t much time left for the launch of the device, and the brand could soon make an announcement regarding the same. If the Y91i launches at INR 7,990, it will be the most affordable smartphone offering from the brand in India.
The Vivo Y91i is currently on sale in a few countries including the Philippines. Therefore, its specifications are already known. This new smartphone comes as the successor to the Y81i that launched last year. The Vivo Y91i is based on Y91 but it has slightly downgraded hardware, and hence, it costs less. The Vivo Y91i is one of the most affordable smartphones in the markets it launched to feature a bezel-less display with a notch, and a dual-camera setup at the rear.
