Vivo is likely to unveil the phone in various markets outside China. The company might announce the launch date soon.

Vivo Y78+ 5G New Details Out
The Vivo Y78+ 5G will be a new mid-range offering. Ahead of its official launch, the phone has visited the Geekbench benchmark website. The listing reveals that the phone has the model number V2271A. As per the listing, the Vivo Y series phone features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC. The 5G chipset has been used in several other smartphones in India, which were launched for under or around Rs 20,000.
The variant of the Y78+ 5G listed on Geekbench has 12GB of RAM. We can expect Vivo to launch the phone with up to 256GB of storage. In addition to this, the Y78+ 5G will run Android 13 out of the box. It will have a layer of Funtouch OS 13 or Origin OS 3 based on the region of its launch. The listing confirms that the Y78+ 5G scored 670 and 1976 in Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core tests.
The same device was spotted recently on 3C, which confirmed its support for 44W fast charging.
