Apple has announced the dates for the WWDC (Worldwide Developers Conference) 2024 event. The Cupertino giant will host the keynote viewing party on June 10. The conference will go on until June 14. Here’s what to expect from the upcoming WWDC 2024 ahead of the scheduled dates.

Apple is inviting developers to attend the June 10 in-person keynote at Apple Park. However, this will be for a select few and the rest can watch it live virtually on the Apple Developer app, Apple Developer website, and YouTube. Interested people can apply for this on the Apple Developer site.

Apple has confirmed that it will announce the latest advancements for iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, tvOS, and visionOS at the event. The tech giant will invite a limited number of developers and students who are selected to visit Apple Park on June 10.

The Cupertino giant emphasises that the entry will be free for every developer. Apple is expected to announce iOS 18 at the event, which is believed to be a groundbreaking software update with AI integration. To recall, Apple has recently acquired DarwinAI for the same purpose.

Siri is expected to gain several advancements with the iOS 18 update, including the integration of large-language modules. The integration of the module will help Siri with natural conversation capabilities. Users will also be able to automate tasks using voice-based commands with Siri.

iOS 18 is also said to adapt design elements from visionOS. The other improvements will include an improved spotlight search and AI code writing in X-code for developers. Rumours suggest that Apple could introduce an AI App Store at the event. Apple will also debut iOS 18 with the capability for auto-generation of Apple Music playlists with inputs from the user.

Apple is also expected to integrate AI features into the macOS 15 update. Apple might also announce hardware refreshments for several Macs, including Mac Studio, Mac Mini, and others with the latest M3 chipset.
