Xiaomi unveiled the Xiaomi 14 and the Xiaomi 14 Pro smartphones in China back in October. Now, it looks like Xiaomi is gearing up for the launch of the Xiaomi 14 in the global and Indian markets. While, the brand is yet to confirm the global and India launch date of the device, a new report from 91Mobiles reveals that the Xiaomi 14 will be unveiled during MWC 2024 for the global market. The report further states that the smartphone will also launch in India on the same day.
Xiaomi 14 Might Launch in India in February
The upcoming MWC 2024 event is planned from February 26 to February 29. Since big-ticket unveilings happen a day before MWC starts, it might be possible that the Xiaomi 14 could launch on February 25. As MWC 2024 inches closer, Xiaomi might reveal more details as to when it plans to hold the event.
The launch of Xiaomi 14 is also imminent in India, considering that the device received the BIS certification last month. We can expect the Xiaomi 14 India and the global variant to offer the same specifications as the Chinese model.
Xiaomi 14 sports a 6.36-inch LTPO OLED display that has a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC which is accompanied by 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage. The device runs Android 14 out of the box with the HyperOS skin on top.
The other key features which the smartphone offer includes a 50MP triple-camera setup, 32MP selfie camera, 4,610mAh battery, 90W wired fast charging, 50W wireless charging, an IP68 rating, and an in-display fingerprint sensor support.
