All three models of the ASUS ROG Phone 8 Series feature the same set of specifications. The devices comes equipped with a 6.78-inch flexible AMOLED screen with an FHD+ resolution.The refresh rate is 165Hz, touch sampling rate is 720Hz, and peak brightness levels of up to 2500 nits. The screen is protected with Gorilla Glass Victus 2.

The ROG Phone 8 Series is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. The base models come with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. ASUS will also offer a 24GB+1TB variant. The device features a Rapid-Cooling Conductor design that transfers heat directly from the processor to the back panel. The ROG Phone 8 Series also gets AirTriggers that can customized by users for gaming.

The triple rear camera setup on the ASUS ROG Phone 8 Series includes a 50MP primary camera with the Sony IMX 890 sensor, supported with a 6-axis Gimbal Stabilizer. The secondary camera is a 32MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and OIS, while the third sensor is a 13MP ultrawide lens. The selfie camera is a 32MP shooter with support for pixel binning.

The ROG Phone 8 Series runs on a 5500mAh battery. It supports 65W wired HyperCharging and 15W Qi wireless charging. The device also features a 5-magnet speaker setup with Hi-Res Audio output, while retaining the 3.5mm headphone jack.

The base model ROG Phone 8 has an Aura RGB lighting logo, whereas the ROG Phone 8 Pro and the ROG Phone 8 Pro Edition come with an AniMe Vision mini-LED display with 341 elements. It can display preset gaming animations from ASUS, or even custom short clips from the user. The Pro models also come with secret animation which can be unlocked when two users touch their devices together.

The new AeroActive Cooler X is a clip-on accessory, which is 29% smaller than the previous cooling fans from ASUS. It offers 1.2x higher cooling efficiency and can reduce the temperature of the device by up to 26 degrees Celsius, as per the company.

The ASUS ROG Phone 8 is priced at $1099.99 (approx Rs 91,400), the ROG Phone 8 Pro at $1199.99 (approx Rs 99,700), while the top-end ROG Phone 8 Pro Edition is priced at $1499.99 (approx Rs 1,24,500) in the international markets. The AeroACtive Cooler X is priced at $99.99 (approx Rs 8300)

ASUS has already confirmed that the ROG Phone 8 Series will soon launch in India. However, the company has not announced the exact date yet. We can expect the Indian pricing to start at around Rs 95,000 for the base model.
