ASUS is likely to debut the forthcoming controller under the ROG Tessen Mobile Controller moniker.
The report reveals that the controller can transform the upcoming smartphones into a veritable gaming handheld. A report from the publication recently revealed the renders and specifications of the forthcoming ROG smartphones.
ASUS ROG Tessen Mobile Controller
The report divulges that ASUS has taken inspiration from the ROG Ally gaming handheld with the design of the ROG Tessen Mobile Controller. The upcoming controller is believed to be a modified version of the ASUS ROG Kunai 3 Gamepad.
The forthcoming controller comes with extra RGB lights and advanced capability to handle various gaming situations in comparison to the ROG Kunai 3 Gamepad.
ASUS will debut the ROG Tessen Mobile Controller, which has a compact design to improve ergonomics. The handgrips with the controller can be expanded, which provides universal compatibility with other smartphones.
The report reveals that the controller can be adjusted to various modes for playing games of different orientations. The controller features a USB Type-C plug, which can connect to the USB Type-C port of the ROG Phone 8 series smartphones.
The renders of the smartphone confirmed that ASUS will continue to equip the upcoming smartphones with dual USB Type-C ports. The wired connection between the controller and the smartphone ensures that there are no lags between inputs.
The render also divulges the ALPS joysticks and control keys present in the ROG Tessen Mobile Controller. Windows Report reveals that ASUS will debut the forthcoming controller in multiple colour options other than Black colour. The upcoming controller is likely to be priced between USD 139 (approx. Rs 11,600) and USD 159 (approx. Rs 13,300).
ASUS is also expected to debut the controller in 2024, along with the upcoming smartphones. The upcoming ROG Tessen Mobile Controller is rumoured to offer a battery life of 6 hours in wireless mode.
The publication previously revealed the DEVILCASE Guardian with AeroActive Cooler X, which will debut with the upcoming ROG Phone 8 series smartphones.
The case allows the users to use the transparent backplate, which also makes the RGB lighting visible when the cooler is not in use. The render of the cooler divulged a design similar to its predecessors.
